Due to recent problems with real life and a few arguements over what material to include in the fiction edition to be released, the project has been severely delayed. Expect it next year at the earliest while we resolve these difficulties.

On an interesting side note, we have already lost two members to insanity. That means we are currently without artists and may have to rely upon Chaosium for this.

I have fallen out of comming here.

The Shoggoths performed as expected. Mass slaughterings and the last one starved to death.

As for my life since then: I'm married and now my wife is pregnant. Soon, another one to train in the ways of the Mythos shall enter the world. Almost as scary as what Lovecraft wrote.

A few of the smaller shoggoths managed to find a hatch we had totally forgotten about and tried to escape. Unluckily for them, the hatch was actually an abandoned expansion attempt that resulted in us finding out the volcano isn't extinct, as science thinks, but actually just dormant. The lead shoggoth found that out the hard way when it, being young and lacking in wisdom, ran across the sudden drop at the end of the tunnel. It failed reflex attempts to save itself.

Though we lost ...

The first week is over. The stronger of the shoggoths quickly found and consumed the nonshoggoths in the lab on the fourth day. The rest, being not quite as strong, fought each other and cannibalized the dead. So far, only four of the 60 shoggoths have died. Continued observations are in order.

The second batch, bred to be more obediant to us, is well under way. The first ones should be hatching within a week.
