    Michael slowed when he realized the professor was not as close as he had been and he looked back to see the man crouched beside the mannequin, examining the thing.

    Alan took out the village map and looked at it. He looked towards the west side of the building. Through the fog, it looked like another building was constructed almost up against the Wood Side Apartment building.
