(After playing the Call of Cthulhu scenario “Restless Dreams” Thursday with Jeff Smith, Ken Woody, Stephen Turner, and Erik Huffine from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)

Michael slowed when he realized the professor was not as close as he had been and he looked back to see the man crouched beside the mannequin, examining the thing.
Professor Loomis touched the leg of the mannequin and found that it was hard and unresisting, like plaster. He lifted it up by one leg. A thick liquid dripped out. He rubbed some of it between his fingers. It was sticky and smelt of copper. It seemed to be blood.

“I came in ‘cause those things outside,” Eddie said. “And then I saw that guy and then I got sick. But I didn’t do it.
“Okay, well you need to pull yourself together,” Alan said.
The kid puked up more bile.
“You hear me?” Alan said.
He and Vanderholdt discussed getting Eddie out of there, with Vanderholdt telling him what he was going to do wouldn’t be pretty, but should get the kid’s attention. He pointed out that

Eddie was getting sick less consistently. Every once in a while he would make a choking noise and spit up a little more.
“Eddie, can you stand up?” Michael asked.
“No,” Eddie moaned.
“Hey, Alan,” Michael called. “You okay? Did you find the girl?”
“... yeah,” Alan called back uncertainly. “Hey ... come down here.”
“You think it’s okay to leave Eddie down here?” Michael called.
“I said I’d stay here until you got tired of looking for your brother,” Vanderholdt said softly. “I don’t think he’s here. But, I’ll help you. I’m with you. But ... everything that we see around here is beyond the bizarre.”
Alan took out the village map and looked at it. He looked towards the west side of the building. Through the fog, it looked like another building was constructed almost up against the Wood Side Apartment building.
“C’mon,” Alan said.
