  1. Woohoo!

I just got my CoC BRP core in the mail.

Also, to fill in the lack of gaming my life has right now, I'm alternating between listening to Logan9a's Heroic Cthulhu podcasts and the YSDC MoN/HotOE podcasts... and RPGMP3's ToTK podcast!

    So... much... Cthulhu...

EDIT: On a more recent and awesome note, I'm going to be joining Logan9a for some gaming on August 18th.

  2. Now, in Chicago!

So yeah, I've been in Chicago since October 2006.

I ordered the CoC BRP core, which is on its way as I write this. I've been toying with the idea of a Elizabethan CoC game... good old Roanoke Island.

As for actual gaming, I haven't been able to since I moved up here, so I'm looking to change that as soon as possible. Its almost like having an itch you just can't scratch.

    Thats it for now...

  3. A personal CoC update...

I'm going to wait until I move to Chicago to buy the BRP core. I don't think it's going to be too bad, since I bought the d20 CoC from a friend.

It's a good read, and has given me some great ideas for a story of my own. I may even run a game or two in the d20 system... not sure yet. I definitely want to buy the BRP core, either way.

  4. My first CoC experience...

Last night, I GM'ed the Quickstart rules adventure available on Chaosium's website.

It gave me a decent understanding of the CoC BRP system, as well as a bit of experience GMing in the world of CoC. I have never GMed/DMed any game before, so it was a very eye-opening experience.

I can't wait to receive my CoC core in the mail, so that I can begin running my own adventures. I already have so many ideas...
