With a couple of the regular team unavailable this weekend, the remaining four of us took the opportunity to try out the Arkham Horror board game from Fantasy Flight Games. I was certainly very interested to give it a go though I must say I felt a bit of trepidation over what I'd heard about it taking a long time to play and being rather complex. Whee! It took 11 months playing 4 hours pretty much every sunday night but my group finally finished Day Of The Beast (Curse of Cthulhu actually, but who's counting?). So anyway, it seemed to go down pretty well and I'm fairly chuffed. (SPOILERS AHEAD!) Only two PC fatalities. One nobly sacrificing himself to save the party from Nyogtha.
