Having driven off the remianing Hobos and seen to their own wounds, Dr Ephraim Sprague now moved to assist the unconcious prisoner. Having been woefully underprepared last session (I hadn't been expecting to run it that week) I had a whole day to work on the investigation this week, and spent a pleasant afternoon in my back garden coming up with The Spine.

The first session was a disappointing one, with a substantial amount of flailing and a failure on my part to succeed in adopting the improvisational mindset.

The session started with a metting between the freshly conveened investigators and professors Rice, Morgan and Llanfer. The 1st document was discussed at some length, and they then met with Dr Armitage - who wasn't able to tell them much of anything.

The first session was just a quick half hour jammed onto the end of the previous investigation ( Becky ran us one called "A little knowledge" I believe) and after everyone had finished their characters, I provided them with a brief note that gave them a couple of paragraphs background on how they had come to the attention of the Armitage enquiry.

This isn't somehting I've done before, but decided to give a try as I don't have an introductory scenario to run or anyhting ...

Time to dip my toe in the Trail of Cthulhu water and see how it feels, the Armitage Files is proving just too strong an enticement to resist, and I be kicking things off with my usual group for a brief introduction tomorrow.
