I'll start posting the events of the campaign, which begins in Arkham in 1928. Our party members are Cyrus Percival Garrett, professor of archaeology at Miskatonic University, graduate assistant and art history major Miranda Chesterton and her uncle, Dr. Quentin Xavier Smythe. Professor Garrett has received a grant to search for the lost tomb of Sesostris III, following up on the excavation begun and abruptly curtailed several years before by Douglas Hawkins.

We started a new adventure last Saturday, set in 1928. We (the characters, I mean!) live in Arkham and are going on a dig to find the lost tomb of Sesostris III.

I've ended up with the best character stats. Thomas was really strict about rolling them up this time--3 6-sided's and reroll ones for each stat. First time we've ever had anyone with an 8! I think we're spoiled. But it's likely that Scott's character (Cyrus P. Garrett) will go insane first, which isn't great, because ...
