PoC

I didn't go to the UK Gen Con this year - my new wife would say with good reason (Honeymoon). However I'm getting back several reports that it was for the most part a fairly disappointing event, with only a quarter or so of the 4000-5000 people actually attending. CthulhuCon for instance has capacity for nearly 400 players and got just under 100 - still I believe a good time was had by Cthuhlu fans.

Yet again another Sunday evening comes around, only this time it's a Bank Holiday, so no work tomorrow!

Big news of course is that I got married on 12 April to the lovely Helen, and I'm doubly lucky as H. is also an archaeologist and a roleplayer to boot - so no having to explain what this funny hobby of mine is - or the nature of the Big C.

It's a mild-weathered, gentle Sunday afternoon. I'm tapping away here on the keyboard and the smell of freshly baking bread is wafting up the stairs. Breadmakers are great. I was doubtful at first, but I'm convinced now. The proof is in the eating!

The new forums are now online, but won't be officially announced until Monday evening so that old forum members can choose to repost some of their previous content if they wish. Hopefully the new foums will prove of use, at least they're ...

The initial upgrade to the web site went relatively smoothly yesterday, hopefully all the planned changes should be in place by Summer.

Need to work on the new set of forums and see if there's a way of transferring the posts from the old forums to the new.
